Our Expertise

We continually invest in research, development and the latest machinery to keep up with the demand for new and innovative product formulations.

Our alcohol blending department manufactures eau de toilettes, aftershaves and room sprays, using stainless steel mixing vessels that allow for both small and large batches. The liquid blending department produces lotions, gels and creams, and can accommodate hot or cold formulations. We can also make pure vegetable-based soaps in a range of shapes and sizes, as well as scented candles filled into glass tumblers.


Filling Capabilities

Our filling equipment can handle bottles and jars in glass and plastic finishes, as well as plastic tubes, and our extensive range of labelling equipment meets most design needs.

Our production lines comprise:

2 x automatic bottle filling / labeling, 1 x jar filling,
3 x single head hand filling, 3 x automatic tube filling (for plastic tubes),
1 x automatic bottle filling and crimping (for alcohol products),
1 x soap production and stamping, 1 x cellophane wrapping,
2 x perfumed candle filling, 1 x hand packaging.

Broad Oak is accredited by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) to the ISO: 9001, ISO: 14001 and OHSAS 18001 quality standards. We are also a member of the RSPO and meet the BRC Consumer Goods standard, Soil Association Organic Standard, SMETA Ethical Audit and work with our suppliers to continuously improve the product and service quality we provide.

We require 2 Line Setters to join the Company, initially on a temporary 3 month contract, working on the rotating shift , 6am-2pm/ 2:15pm -10:15pm.

You will be responsible for setting up production lines with the correct machinery to ensure that the Production run reaches the required hourly output as stated on the specification sheet. You will work with due regard to the Health & Safety Act and will be required to fill in all relevant paperwork for the task you are undertaking.

The successful candidate must have good attention to detail and a basic understanding of instruction both written and verbally in English. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role although training will be provided.

We require 2 x QC Inspectors to join the Company, initially on a temporary 3 month contract, working on the rotating shift , 6am-2pm/ 2:15pm -10:15pm.

You will be maintaining & overviewing the standard of quality products being produced within the company, ensuring that all production lines are compiling with the QA standard expected by the Company and the customer/ consumer.

The successful candidate must have excellent attention to detail, be proactive, have a good level of numeracy skills and a good level of understanding of instruction both written and verbally in English. Ideally they will have previous quality control experience.

You will be required to have good attention to detail, dexterous and have good eye to hand coordination.

Working on the production line you will be required to perform a number of different tasks including:

-Filling bottles, packing products, fitting caps and pumps to bottles, labelling products whist ensuring product quality throughout the process, adhering to the high standards of the Company. As you will be on the factory floor you will need to adhere to Health & Safety guidelines whilst moving around machinery and maintaining a high concentration on your work. You will be a team player, ensuring that each position on the line is kept running as well as ensuring all quality control standards are met.
-Experience is an advantage but not essential
-Good attention to detail required
-Good communication skills
-Reliability and punctuality
